Mercury in the 7th House
Yuvati Bhav — marriage, partnerships, trade
Favourable Results
When Budha (Mercury) occupies the 7th house (the Yuvati Bhava, the house of marriage, partnerships, and trade), the native (the person whose chart it is) is intelligent, a speaker of truth, well-mannered, and held in respect. He is fond of wearing fine clothes. His wife is beautiful and doe-eyed (mriganayani), learned, of virtuous character (shilavati), and comes from a wealthy family of high lineage. He has many sons, and his wife too has many brothers and sisters. The native earns his wealth through handicraft and through the spot trade of ready goods, by buying and selling, though work of the intellect does not prove very profitable for him. Such a native is greatly benevolent: even in passing along the road, he is sure to do some good turn or other for someone. His old age passes in excellent comfort.
Unfavourable Results
If Budha is neecha (debilitated), vakri (retrograde), or otherwise under an inauspicious influence, then the native is left weak and enervated in lovemaking by premature ejaculation. He is also defeated in disputes, conflicts, and the like. He consumes forbidden, unfit-to-eat foods (abhakshya substances). The native's sisters, daughter, or sister-in-law (sali, the wife's sister) lead unhappy lives.
