11th House — Labha Bhav
gains, income, aspirations
The Labha Bhava, the House of Gains
The eleventh bhava is the eleventh of the twelve houses, a domain of life rather than a mere astronomical division. It is known as the Labha bhava, the house of gains. The lord of this house, the ekadashesh, is accordingly also called the Labhesh, the lord of gains. It is from this bhava that the native's sources of income are known, and from it one examines whether the native will earn his wealth honestly or dishonestly.
