Ketu in the 3rd House
Sahaj Bhav — siblings, courage, communication
Favourable Results
When Ketu (the south lunar node, a shadow graha) is under a favourable influence, the native (the person whose chart it is) is supremely radiant (param tejasvi), virtuous and talented, wealthy, long-lived, illustrious, and steadfast in patience. He resides in lands away from his home. Such a native obtains the enjoyment of sense-objects (vishaya-bhoga), opulence (aishvarya), and other such pleasures. He destroys his enemies (shatru) and opponents. He remains victorious even in disputes and debates. He receives happiness from his wife and is blessed with virtuous children (santana). He always remembers the kindnesses done to him by his friends (mitra) and the grace of the Supreme (Paramatma). If the native is of a religious, devout mind, he becomes detached and fond of solitude, and grows skilled in study and learning (vidya), especially if Ketu is in Meena rashi (Pisces).
Unfavourable Results
The native chatters incessantly and becomes addicted to pointless quarrels; by merely echoing whatever others say, he ends up sorrowful in the end. He suffers from heart disease (hriday rog), a trembling disorder (kampan rog, a tremor ailment), and pain in the shoulders and arms. On account of fear, delusion, and worry of mind, he is dishonoured in society. In his lawsuits he does not spare even the women of his enemies, but rather takes advantage of them. He lives a troubled life in his travels and in foreign lands. He remains separated from his wife, and does not enjoy good relations with his sisters-in-law (his wife's sisters). His brothers and friends meet with distress (klesha). To worsen his relations with his brothers will become a cause of even greater ruin.
