When Shani (Saturn), the slow, disciplinary, karmic graha (celestial influencer), occupies the 3rd house (the Sahaja Bhava, the house of siblings, courage, and communication), the native (the person whose chart it is) is measured in his speech, happy, fond of justice, brave (a hero, shoor), valorous, generous, of keen intellect, thoughtful, and of noble birth. Many people remain dependent upon him. Such a person nurtures and provides for all alike, drawing no distinction between friend and foe. He obtains the happiness of wife and sons. Unfavourable Results

The native is wicked, dark of complexion, unclean, base, and greedy. However much such a native is honoured, he speaks only wicked words and is ungrateful (kritaghna).
