Rahu in the 7th House
Yuvati Bhav — marriage, partnerships, trade
Favourable Results
Generally, Rahu (the north lunar node, a shadow graha) remains favourable in this house. When its influence is benefic, the native (the person whose chart it is) is valiant, strong, and full of majestic splendour (pratap). In the royal assembly he always meets with favourable results, and he attains high offices at court, such as that of a minister. In his home there is every comfort: wealth, property, conveyances, and the like. He becomes the father of several sons. On account of poverty he never has to stretch out his hand before anyone (to beg). His time passes well while away from home (in pravas, travel or sojourn abroad). His marriage takes place early, and conjugal love between husband and wife is excellent.
Unfavourable Results
The native is irascible, arrogant, dull-witted (of little intellect), quarrelsome, and a vagabond who wanders about aimlessly. He is irreligious (devoid of dharma), adulterous, and sickly; he suffers bodily pain, and a vata disorder (an ailment of wind) keeps troubling his waist (the lower back). He has to endure separation from loved ones (viyoga) and public censure. He gains no profit from the selling trade. He is given to sinful pursuits such as gambling and speculation; and after his marriage his father-in-law suffers a fatal affliction. Such a native's wife (or wives) suffers from diseases such as pradar (leucorrhoea, abnormal discharge) and disorders of menstrual flow. He stays at odds with his own wife. The wife herself, too, is ugly, irascible, crooked (devious), quarrelsome, of fierce temper, arrogant, and devoid of sexual desire. Divorce and the like occur more than once, so such people get no pleasure of the marriage bed. As a result, the native keeps illicit relations with other women: generally he consorts with a widow, an abandoned (cast-off) woman, a woman older than himself, or a prostitute and the like. In the end this person loses his virility (his sexual potency) and is afflicted by diseases.
