The native (the person whose chart it is) speaks the truth and is an enemy of wicked people. He gains wealth by living away from his homeland, in another region. He is blessed with sons. Generally he is himself the eldest brother, or else he shoulders responsibility in the household like an elder. In helping his brothers, he himself grows wealthy as well. The native is skilled in debate and argument; a person once defeated by him does not dare to face him again. He earns his wealth from the metal trade, from farming, from shares, and the like, and money comes to him suddenly. His relations with his in-laws (his wife's family) are excellent. Through stridhan (the wealth a wife brings and owns) his fortune flourishes, and the happiness of progeny and abundance (the blessing the tradition calls "milk and sons") grows.

The native is poor, merciless, devoid of learning, foolish, and cruel. He has a habit of opposing others in every matter. He may suffer a defect of the eyes or of speech. He cannot make use of the wealth he himself earns; he only hoards it. His wealth is destroyed through royal penalty (fines and punishment imposed by the state), through theft, or through litigation, so that he may even fall into debt. He takes service under base and vile people. He does not keep good relations with his wife, his sons, and his relatives. His death too may come suddenly, in a fight or a quarrel.
