The native (jataka, the person whose chart it is) is righteous and devout (dharmatma), sattvic in nature (satoguni, governed by the quality of goodness), content (santoshi), intelligent (buddhiman), valorous (parakrami), and a knower of many arts (kalas). He is skilled at performing every kind of work, and his nature is benevolent and obliging (paropkari). He receives happiness from his brothers and kinsmen (bhai-bandhu) and wealth from his in-laws (his wife's family).
